The Shanghai Actors Association is an organizational resource of professional acting talent in Shanghai. For everyone who is interested in acting, we provide a helpful resource to spread information about the industry and related news. We promote acting on all levels. We host events that are open to everybody who has an interest in acting or related industries.
For professional actors, we provide a platform for them to establish themselves in Shanghai.
The SAA is affiliated with the Constellation Agency. Constellation is more than a talent agency, as we provide all manner of both cast and crew. Membership is by invitation only and is provided by a team of directors. This aims to keep the level of talent very high, limited to those with extraordinary talent in their field. Once credited by the board of directors, potential members will be invited to join the agency.
Working together with agencies and production teams, the SAA provides an organization of the industry that brings the right people together and benefits the actors with better conditions, pay and opportunities.
