I am glad to see the community coming together. For the last two
Shanghai Actors meetups we had pretty good turnouts and we ended up
staying until almost 10pm! The next meeting will be next Thursday (on
account of Halloween this weekend)on Thursday November 6th. There is a
special treat for the next meeting as well! Read on to find out.
SAA News 新闻
1. ICS to come to next SAA meeting
The Shanghai Actors Association meetup now dubbed "Starlink Night" will
have a special guest in the way of a film crew from the International
Channel of Shanghai. So wear your best socks and your best smile,
you're going to be on camera!
Calling all speakers!
If
you want to promote your theater group, workshop or any other industry
related event or group now is your chance! Tell me if you want to have
some speaking time at the next meeting so people can know about whatyou have to offer. This is the time and place!

1. Filming is on!
Seems the community is in a frenzy filming movies for
the next MeiWenTi Film Competition! Good to see so many people active
this time! I will see you on stage as your MC for the awards ceremony!

2. Another Theater Group doing another play
Shanghai seems
to have no shortage of talented theater groups these days. This time it
is 5th Wall doing their play "Marriage Counseling. See the website for more details.

Another Shanghai Actors meeting is upon us! With good turnouts at the
previous ones, lets make this one the best yet! Also, don't forget that
ICS will be at this event filming what we get up to at our wild and crazy (well maybe not so crazy) meetings.
We have as usual some food/drink specials if you want:
Drinks: 2 for 1 drinks and free selected drinks for ladies
Food: We have a special deal of an 80RMB western style buffet. All the meat you can stuff yourself with!
Of course you can just come down and enjoy the company of others in the
industry! So, come down, meet the community and make some connections!
