Casting Call
The East West Theater
Company is casting for their April 5-8 performance of “Relationshit”, a night
of short relationship plays. We are looking for English speaking Chinese or
foreign actors willing to seriously commit to professional standards and weekly
practices beginning directly after the Chinese New Year.
The East West Theater
Company is a not-for-profit community theater. Therefore this is an unpaid
performance. We are looking for great actors committed to providing high
quality English theater to enrich the cultural environment in Shanghai. Though
we expect high levels of professionalism, no previous acting experience is
required - actors will provide enthusiasm and energy and our experienced
members and directors will provide mentoring and direction. Commitment to
attending regular practices 2 times per week (at times agreed upon by fellow
actors), and technical/dressed rehearsals every evening during the week of
April 2-5 and the performances on April 5-8 is essential.
Casting will be at Rob
Tromp’s apartment in Pudong, 111 Songlin Lu, Unit PC, Bldg 4, near the corner of
Zhangyang Lu, 2 blocks from the Shiji Dadao stop on metro line 2. Casting times
will be Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 1-3 or 3-6 pm. Please email :
